The club shrugged off the disappointment of a last minute postponement by Inverness (To Be Rearranged) by focusing on the fantastic positivity of Camanachd Association North Development Officer, Katie Drain’s visit last week.
Katie arrived on Wednesday and attended Stornoway Primary Training. She then delivered a shinty festival in the Nicolson Institute, CPD at Stornoway Primary AND attended senior training on Thursday, and then visited Harris for a festival at Sir E Scott on Friday, followed by a Foundation Coaching Course on Friday Evening and Saturday Morning, before sailing away for a well earned rest.
Katie really enjoyed her visit, especially the scenery and we’d like to thank her for her time and effort in coming over. We look forward the future development of our youngsters.
Fantastic morning session with 4 new foundation level shinty coaches! It's been a great 4 days here….home time now #shinty #sailinghome
