Al Reed was voted Camanachd Leòdhais Junior Player of the Year for 2011 at the Club’s Dinner Dance.
Al has become the most established of the younger players coming through the ranks at Camanachd Leòdhais in the 2011 season. He has become an effective wingback for the senior team when called upon, playing particularly well against Lochbroom, as well as being a strong full back for the U17 and Nicolson Institute teams. A committed shinty player, he makes the long journey from Pairc to training and was a member of the Mod Cup Winning Squad.
He will hopefully develop further in 2012 and become a crucial member of Camanachd Leòdhais’ squad in future.
