Holds the position for two years
Chair committee meetings (including AGM/EGM)
Represent club at local events/CA events
Delegate any task as seen fit
Rules on appeal for disciplinary committee – decision is final and binding
Secretary (incorporating player registration & serious injury coordinator roles)
Ensure accurate minutes are taken at meetings
Distribute and compile agenda and minutes as required
Issue and collect ‘Code of Conducts’ and liaise with Manager with any non-completion for players
Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed timely with regards to player registration and in all other matters also
Ensure all serious injuries are recorded as required
Keep contact details of players up to date – it is the player’s responsibility to ensure changes are communicated
Responsible for ensuring members of the club pay their annual Membership fees
Treasurer
Ensure all monies in and out are accurately recorded
Prepare reports for Chairperson as required
Manager
Manage Team on match day – wholly responsible for decisions
Liaise with Coaches, Assistant Manager and Captain with regards to training needs and performance
Pick Match day squad
Arrange Match day travel as required (in conjunction with Fixtures Secretary)
Delegate any tasks as they see fit
Attend at least one training session per week
Disciplinary Committee member
Represent the club locally and nationally
Provides referee reports to the CA
Assistant Manager
Support Manager in running team
Take on Manager role in manager’s absence
Attend at least one training session per week
Captain
Lead by example on and off the pitch
Attend at least one training session per week

Coach
Liaise with manager/captain with regards to training needs
Host structured training sessions
Feedback to manager on attendance/performance at training
Take warm up/cool down on match day

Youth Coach (incorporating School Liaison officer)
Liaise with manager with regards to training needs
Regular coaching in structured training sessions
Feedback to manager on attendance/performance at training
Responsible for promoting youth shinty.
Take an active role in arranging opportunities for the youth players to play games,
Webmaster
Maintain website and social media presence
Seek confirmation from committee member before updating
Maintain the club’s reputation by adhering to code of conduct
Merchandising Officer (incorporating Marketing/Sponsorship Coordinator)
Build relationships with local companies with a view to sponsoring club
Liaise with committee on requirements and merchandising
Raise club profile locally
Fixture Secretary
Must be fully briefed on club policy as regards to what we ask opposing teams for in terms of minibus payments etc.
Organise match day requirements
Liaise with opposition to make all necessary arrangements
Arranges friendlies with guidance from the management team
Advises CA of results & scorers for home games as soon as the game ends
